Sittin' down here in the middle of New Orleans
At a little coffee shop called Khave
Drinkin' music, playin' coffee, hangin' with our friends
GO GO GO LILY GO!
Smoked half of my tobacco pouch here
Rain came and went we had no fear
Little wet coffee buzzzzed la da da da da
What the heck is going on?
Now where we going we end up at The John
Drinkin' those mixed drinks oh so strong
Playin' pool, ukulele, loading up the juke box
Now Now Gimme Some Soul Now!
Aint got no money but we're rich
Got no home but I got my friends
Nothin' that can hold us down, as we roam from town to town
Live! Love! all that good stuff!
fell into Days n' Daze when I was travelling, thanks to some of my road dogs. I don't have that freedom anymore but I feel a piece of it Everytime I listen to their music. love y'all! thefool309
I remember when I first discovered Holy Locust, seeing a live performance that I was having trouble seeing over the heads of Bridge City Sinners lmao! But I have been in love with this album ever since I heard it. My homie has it on in his car constantly. The music is so rich and textured and beautiful, I'll never get over how amazing it is! Truly a masterpiece! werederg
